It's been a while...

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted!  We have been studying paleontology for most of September, and we will have a quiz this Friday.  Handouts will be uploaded ASAP! :)

Minerals and Rocks

Today in class we are learning about rocks and minerals.  Just in case, here are the notes and the powerpoint that goes with them from today!

We also began our class rap today!  We will start each class with this:

All I do is learn learn learn no matter what

Got science on my mind, I can never get enough

And every time I step up in the classroom

Everybody’s grades go UP

And they stay there

And they stay there

Those grades stay there!

On UP and UP they go!

‘Cause all I do is learn all day

So turn your thinking on - I mean SLANTING and GRIP and stay there!

Float Your Boat!

Friday we did our first lab to practice the oh so fabulous SCIENTIFIC METHOD and practice measurement using a ruler (metric) and a triple-beam balance. Here are some photos of our class!
